Our education programme is supporting an annual school visit and workshop for Kenton Primary School, this year 55 children attended the site.
The sessions are designed to help children understand the importance of renewable energy in modern day society and give them a good understanding of the impacts of climate change. All teaching follows The National Curriculum and links to subjects including since, maths and geography. Classroom resources such a solar powered toys are also provided to assist learning.
One of the children said: ‘We liked looking for bugs, we didn’t think there would be so much wildlife. The visit was fun.
